The device (D) has a main part (100) made of flexible and impermeable material and including an elongated geometry. Straps (120) project from two ends of the main part, where each strap is associated with a maintenance unit (230) for maintaining the main part in position. The straps are carried out in a same material as that of the main part, and are bent with the main part. The maintenance unit is a flexible tube in a hollow core, where each strap is threaded and folded up to maintain the strap in the tube and to insert the folded tube in a part of a car (A) to maintain it in folded position.
