Adjustable bearing for test bench of e.g. car's gear box, has adjustment units adjusting position of cavity relative to sole according to adjustment direction parallel to median plane of sole and vertical direction perpendicular to plane
The bearing has a cavity (22) for receiving and supporting a transmission shaft. An adjustment unit formed of elements (18), a lever (24), a support surface (28) and grooves (30, 32) adjusts a position of the cavity with respect to a sole (16) according to an adjustment direction (H) parallel to a median plane of the sole. Another adjustment unit formed of an element (20), screw (36), nut (38) and horizontal counter bore adjusts the cavity according to vertical direction (V) perpendicular to a plane of the sole. The lever, axle (26), pin and a comparator displace the former adjustment unit. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a test bench of a revolving machine e.g. gear box, of a car (2) a method for adjusting an intermediate bearing of a transmission shaft of revolving machine e.g. transverse transmission, of the car.
