Discrete gripping device for use in ambulatory cane for handicapped people having difficulties in bending down, has hook closed when traction exerted on half-ring, where pressure exerted by hook and pin is modulated by spring
The device has a hook (11) fixed by an articulation unit (8) that is located on a lower external side face of a cane (1). The hook is folded up on a body of the cane under the effect of a traction exerted by fingers on an opened half-ring (3). The half-ring is blocked on a thrust (2). A spring (10) attracts to a bottom of a shuttle (9) in a slackened position for actuating the hook. The hook is closed when the traction exerted on the half-ring, where the pressure exerted by the hook and a pin (12) is modulated by another spring (7) incorporated in a motion transmitting device.
