Use of a composite material comprising a polymer matrix of carbon nanotubes comprising 0.01-0.021 (preferably 0.02) mass% of an epoxy matrix, and 0.015-0.035 (preferably 0.02) mass% of a polyester imide matrix, as an electrically insulating and thermally conductive material, is claimed. An independent claim is included for manufacturing the composite material comprising the polymeric matrix and the carbon nanotubes, comprising dispersing carbon nanotubes in a solvent, preferably cyclohexane by ultrasonic, for 10-20 (preferably 15) minutes, adding the polymer matrix precursor in the dispersion, homogenizing the mixture, and evaporating the solvent.
