The method involves creating/opening a three-dimensional (3D) graphical modeling file comprising an assembly of objects, and defining a pair of objects. A contextual link is established between the objects such that modification of geometry of one object i.e. reference object, induces corresponding modification of geometry of another object. Another contextual link is established between the objects such that a modification of geometry of the latter object i.e. reference object, induces corresponding modification of geometry of the former object. The file is shared on a computer network.
