Installation for managing e.g. physical infrastructures of marina, in boating environment, has near field communication tags, readers and mobile phones arranged with communication unit, so that one of phones reads/writes data
The installation has a set of near field communication (NFC) tags (9) integrated into port structures, and NFC readers (10) giving physical/logical access to infrastructures. A port data-processing server (3) is connected to the readers and a cellular telephony network. NFC mobile phones (7) communicate with the network. The tags, readers and the phones are arranged with a NFC unit, so that one of the phones approached at short distance of the tags/readers reads/writes data, without physical contact between the tags/readers, and the phones. An independent claim is also included for a method for managing a port in a boating environment.
