Object detecting and locating system for military application, has selection device modifying parameters of electromagnetic waves of radar of system so that electromagnetic waves of radars of system and object are received simultaneously
The system (101) has a radar (102) for emitting electromagnetic waves, and a radar detector (103) for detecting and determining parameters of electromagnetic waves emitted by another radar (105) of an object (104). An estimate module (107) estimates the propagation time of the electromagnetic waves between the former radar and another radar detector (106) of the object. A selection device (109) modifies the parameters of the electromagnetic waves of the former radar so that the electromagnetic waves of the radars are received simultaneously by the latter radar detector. An independent claim is also included for a method for detecting and locating an object.
