Method for tracking mobile entity in e.g. geographical zone to be monitored, involves obtaining area of interest corresponding to agglomeration area, and identifying activity of mobile entities in area of interest
The method involves obtaining a set of trajectories followed by a set of mobile entities during an observation period, where the set of trajectories is defined by succession of geographical positions. A set of regions of interest (C1-C3) e.g. lift of building, is determined within a geographical area to be monitored. An area of interest corresponding to an agglomeration area defining multiple paths is obtained, and an activity of the mobile entities in the area of interest is identified. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system for tracking a mobile entity (2) a data processing program comprising software instructions for performing a method for tracking a mobile entity in a geographical zone.
