The device has a removable electronic support e.g. subscriber identity module (SIM) card, coded and delivered only by an insurance company as a contract is signed and remains valid. A SIM card reader is connected to an electronic circuit or anti-starting device of a vehicle. Expiry of insurance leads to immobilization of the vehicle whose insurance contract is not valid. The vehicle is immobilized by a driver only after a sound warning and ensuring safety of the vehicle.
