Helicopter, has monitoring radar apparatus whose radar antenna housing is mounted on mast of helicopter rotor, and processing devices subdividing radar echo signal for certain bearing angle into number of distance ranges and frequency bands
The helicopter (HC) has a monitoring radar apparatus i.e. pulse Doppler radar apparatus, whose radar antenna housing (BA) is mounted on a mast of a helicopter rotor. Processing devices subdivides a radar echo signal for a certain bearing angle into a number of distance ranges and a number of frequency bands, so that a matrix is generated for a given bearing direction based on the number of the distance ranges and the number of frequency bands, where a specified part of data of the matrix nearest to the bearing direction is replaced.
