The vehicle has an electric machine that is provided for generating a driving force for main unit. A battery component (10) is provided with series of battery cells (112) which are electrically connected with electric machine. A collecting chamber (16) is set with an inlet (20) which is in fluid connection with an air source. The gaps (13) in the proximity of inlet are set narrower than gaps formed between adjacent pairs of battery cells. The gaps are formed away from inlet to promote balanced flow of air through gaps.
