Electrical power supply system for motor car, has conductor path electrically connecting power supply unit with onboard network, and locking element comprising response time shorter than response time of fuse element
The system (1) has an electrical conductor path (3) electrically connecting an electrical power supply unit (4) i.e. rechargeable battery, with an electrical onboard network (2) via an electrical fuse element (5) i.e. fuse. Another electrical conduction path (6) comprises an electric generator unit (7) electrically connected to the electrical onboard network via a switchable transistor element or a diode element. Response time (t2) of one of a set of electric locking elements (11a-11c) is shorter than response time (t1) of the electrical fuse element.
