Method for assisting transverse guiding of vehicle along track, involves determining actual transverse position and reference transverse position that is predetermined depending on transverse position deviation
The method involves determining an actual transverse position (IP) and a reference transverse position (SP), where the reference-transverse position is predetermined depending on a transverse position deviation resulting from the steering intervention of a driver. The transverse position deviation is determined based on detected deviation between the predetermined reference-transverse position and the current actual-transverse position. The detection deviation is integrated depending on a direction, in which the steering intervention is carried out.
