摘要

The component (10) has a set of battery cells i.e. lithium ion cells, stacked to battery modules (12). The battery modules are assembled with a lower connector (20) and extended between end plates (18). An upper connector (26) extends between the two end plates on an opposed side of the modules of the lower connector. The upper and lower connectors keep the modules in a compressed state. The end plates comprise a frame portion that extends around an outer peripheral part of the end plates. A middle section is defined by a curved surface that inwardly projects in a direction of the end plates.
