Heat exchanger for receiving heat from slabs, particularly for receiving cooling from continuous casting hot slabs, has heat exchanger body formed as solid plate, in which flow channel formed as deep-hole bore is introduced
The heat exchanger (1) comprises a flow channel (3) for a heat exchange medium, and a heat exchanger body (2), which has a contact surface (20) for substantially receiving a slab. The heat exchanger body is formed as a solid plate, in which the flow channel is introduced. The flow channel is formed as a deep-hole bore or as milled structure by shaping or casting in the solid plate. The solid plate has an upper surface (200) and a lower surface (210), between which the flow channel is inserted. An independent claim is included for a method for receiving heat from slabs.
