The drive belt (1) has an elastic body based on a thermoplastic elastomer or based on a vulcanizate, where a cover layer (2) is provided as back of the belt. A base (5) having a force transmission zone (8) is provided, where back of the belt is provided with a fabric (9) having a closed surface structure containing warp- and weft threads. The warp- and weft threads are textured by false twisting, where the fabric is provided with an adhesive agent that is a polymer layer. The adhesive agent or a polymer solution contains a dry lubricant, which is a fluororesin.
