Method for processing image data of cameras mounted in vehicle, involves determining image data to be signaled from view of virtual camera on surface of three-dimensional environment model
The method involves providing geometry of three-dimensional environment model comprising a planar bottom portion located in ground plane of vehicle (1), a bottom surface of bottom portion and an environment space including the vehicle. The image data of the cameras (4,5,7,9) is projected as environment model image data on the surface of the model. The image data to be signaled from the view of virtual camera (27) on the surface of the three-dimensional environment model is determined, based on the fulfillment of given condition in the sense of mirror-image representation. An independent claim is included for device for processing image data of images obtained from cameras.
