Method for operating point-dependant control of temperature of battery cooling system for e.g. high volt battery in electrical car, involves determining variable to control maximum temperature in system and maximum temperature spreading
The method involves reading maximum temperature spreading of a high-capacity battery (120). The maximum temperature spreading of the battery is compared with a pre-defined maximum permissible temperature spreading. A manipulated variable is determined to control maximum temperature in a battery cooling system (100) and the maximum temperature spreading of the battery dependant on an operating point, where the maximum temperature represents a value of highest battery temperature. A controllable pump (160) is switched on if the maximum temperature is larger than an upper limit value. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for execution of a method for operating point-dependant control of temperature of a battery cooling system (2) a computer program comprising a program code for executing steps of a method for operating point-dependant control of temperature of a battery cooling system.
