The submarine has a couch device with which a vertically braced belt arrangement (6) forms a support structure for berths within a bottom structure, where the berths are vertically arranged above one another. The belt arrangement comprises four vertically aligned belts (8a-8d), which are arranged opposite to each other. The vertically aligned belts are fastened at an end at a pressure body of the submarine and at another end at a covering base (2) of the submarine. The belts are releasable fastened at the base and connected with horizontally aligned belts (10a-10c, 12a-12d).
