Device for coloring a candle (10), comprises: a tubular part (1) defining an interior space for receiving the candle, moving in the longitudinal direction of the tubular part; and a color-spraying device (2) for producing at least one color spray beam (8) that is directed towards the back at a candle, when the candle is received in the interior space. Independent claims are also included for: (1) coloring a candle, comprising reciprocating the candle, which is hanged to the wick in a first direction and in a second direction opposite to the first direction, and spraying the candle with at least one color spray beam during reciprocating the candle.
