Method for testing damage of carbon fiber reinforced plastic bodywork part of e.g. lorry, involves surrounding damaged bodywork part with casing, and partially damaging bodywork part by mechanical action of test apparatus on bodywork part
The method involves surrounding a damaged sample object (2) with a casing (4), and partially damaging the sample object by a mechanical action of a test apparatus (1) on the sample object. The casing is applied as a coating (5) on the sample object, or utilized as a resiliently and/or flexibly formed airtight envelope such that the mechanical action of the test apparatus on the sample object is performed through the airtight envelope or through a device opening of the airtight envelope. The casing is made of material e.g. latex, silicone and/or plastic.
