Multifunction tool holder for use in processing of workpiece, has force sensor that determines position of maximum clamping extraction force on reference tooth, and determines spot position on cutting path
The multifunction tool holder (1) has a multi-sensor element (4-1) for detecting the clamping force current variable laser spot intensity and position. The multi-sensor element is integrated with a measurement beam transmitter (4-2) at downstream of touch-point tool/workpiece in the direction of detect a surface contour so that higher and lower laser power are provided with respect to slope of inner and outer ring prisms. A force sensor determines the position of maximum clamping extraction force on reference tooth, and determines the spot position on the cutting path.
