The method involves processing control software for operation of an unmanned operational missile (1), where the control software is stored on a board computer (9) of the missile. An original device (14) of the missile is selected based on flight error image for technical error data that is in a form of a flight error image. Technical test carrying flight data of the selected device are stored in data region of a data memory (12) when a test carrying flight (2) is provided with the missile in predetermined time intervals, where the data region is free from flight error image data. An independent claim is also included for an unmanned operational missile.
