Method for e.g. cooling passenger compartment of passenger car, involves adjusting actual value of measured variable to desired value by activating function device by control device when actual-value deviates from desired value
The method involves detecting actual-value of a measured variable by a detection element with a deactivated drive unit i.e. internal combustion engine, of a motor vehicle (S1), where the actual-value characterizes an environmental condition in a passenger compartment. The detected actual-value is compared (S2) with a predetermined desired value by a control device of the motor vehicle. The actual value is adjusted (S3) to the desired value by activating a function device e.g. electromotor, of the motor vehicle by the control device when the actual-value deviates from the desired value. The measured variable is selected from temperature and air-humidity. An independent claim is also included for a device for air-conditioning a passenger compartment of a motor vehicle.
