摘要

The method involves bringing a reference frictional surface (6) with a test friction surface (7) of a disk shaped specimen (2), where the reference frictional surface is allowed to only partially cover the test friction surface. A lubricant is supplied between the frictional surface and the test friction surface. The specimen is moved relative to the specimen such that the friction surfaces rub with each other. A critical contact pressure with regard to the friction pairing is determined so as to determine significant structural damage on the friction surfaces during continuous operation.
