Method for rating driver of motor car, involves detecting driving characteristics of driver, evaluating detected characteristics, and separately displaying rating of driver for foresighted driving and switching attitude
The method involves repeatedly detecting driving characteristics of a driver of a vehicle (1) by detecting speed and acceleration of the vehicle and repeatedly evaluating the detected driving characteristics for various aspects e.g. foresighted driving and switching attitude, for multiple times. An average of multiple ratings of the driver is determined. A rating of the driver is separately displayed for various aspects on a display (2) in the vehicle or on a display (3) of a multi-function instrument or a navigation apparatus. An independent claim is also included for a device for rating a driver of a vehicle.
