The convertiplane (20) has a rigid support surface (21) arranged below a rotor region of a hingeless rotor only on half side. A drive element (22) e.g. turbine and propeller, is provided for forward flight. The rotor is provided with four rotor blades. The rotor region faces away from wind and is widely neutralized by a cover. The convertiplane is configured such that the cover is configured by mechanical, hydraulic and/or electric units in a transition phase. Another cover (23) surrounds a return rotor region above, below and from sides.
