The driver assistance system has an environment sensor that is provided to detect other vehicle or person approached to motor car (7). The indicator units are arranged in the cockpit of motor car so as to provide light signal and/or audio signal in response to detection result. The indicator units are provided with light path (11), display (13) and speaker (15). Independent claims are included for the following: (1) motor car; and (2) method for providing warning to motor car.
