The method involves procuring the chips from palm fronds, particularly date-oil palm fronds, in which the palm fronds of leaflets and of thorns separated from palm are exempted. The obtained midribs are processed to elongated wood chips. The wood chips are cut into chips, in which there are different sized chips. The obtained chips are dried and rough and smooth chips, which are separated from each other and the chips, are glued. The surfaces of a plate are pressed with a phenol-impregnated paper.
