Self-propelled amphibious boat transporter for use as slip wagon, has lifting belt connected with winches for lowering and raising lifting belt, where lifting belt is provided with ballast weight filled with lead or granule such as sand
The transporter (100) has vertical pivotable front and rear supports (140A, 145A) arranged at a support frame (110) i.e. leadframe, such that free ends of the supports project over a water level (WS) if the transporter for retaining or stopping a boat (200) is provided in water. A lifting belt (160) is arranged between ends of the supports lying above the water level. The lifting belt at one of the supports is operatively connected with winches (161) i.e. drums, for lowering and raising the belt. The belt is provided with a ballast weight, which is filled with lead or granule such as sand.
