The adjusting apparatus (12) has a lower spacer that is arranged at rail feet. A tie-rod is arranged on the lower spacer at preset distance from each other, and is fixed between rails (11). The lower spacer is connected with rail heads in state when lower spacer is mounted on rail. The two spacer halves are detachedly connected with one another.The lower spacer is provided with rail contact surfaces at end regions. An independent claim is included for method for adjusting track of two rails for rail vehicles.
