Method for case-based determination of e.g. organisms from radiological images present in digitized form in medical application, involves storing taxonomy of classes under inclusion of index structure as classes of unsimilar objects
The method involves determining similarity measures of objects relative to other objects, which represent neighbors, as unknown or class-belonging objects by using a scale with threshold values of 0 and 1. A taxonomy with classes of similar objects and classes with unsimilar objects is realized. Indices, which maintain a new index to the unknown objects, are associated. The taxonomy of the classes is stored under inclusion of an index structure as the classes of the unsimilar objects and an index structure of an expandable case-database in a data processing system.
