Industrial truck e.g. counterbalance forklift, for handling loads, has operator compartment whose front wall is made of plastic construction part, and overhead guard arranged between operator compartment and mast
The industrial truck (1) has an operator compartment arranged within an overhead guard (3). The overhead guard is arranged between the operator compartment and a mast (10). A front wall (S) of the operator compartment is formed as a construction part made of plastic e.g. dyed plastic and fiber reinforced plastic. The front wall exhibits an energy absorbing design. A function and/or a component is integrated in the construction part. A metal insert is integrated in the construction part to form a reinforcement and/or connecting flange for the function and/or component. The function and/or the component is formed as a lighting facility e.g. headlight, additive lighting facility and/or interior lighting facility, a lighting holder, a cable duct, a wiring, a rearview mirror, a display, a heating and/or ventilation system, a solar panel, a sensor, and a switch or control element.
