Method for manufacturing planar metallic plate for e.g. fuel cell, involves directly performing ion implantation on surface of planar component or on basic material of planar component, and performing alteration of material structure
The method involves directly performing an ion implantation (I) on a surface of a planar component or on a basic material of the planar component. Surface near alteration of a material structure of the planar component or the basic material of the planar component is performed during a multi-stage process. The ion implantation is performed after a cutting process (V) of the basic material of the planar component and before a reforming process (II). The ion implantation is performed after the reforming process and before a joining process (III). An independent claim is also included for a planar component.
