Assistance system i.e. railway collision avoiding system, for displaying e.g. existing emerging situation to driver during driving e.g. railway vehicle, has controller emitting fragrance signal depending on information of situation
The system (1) has a situation detecting unit (2) detecting an existing or future emerging situation and determining information relating to the detected situation. A perfuming controller (4) emits an olfactory perceptible fragrance signal by a perfume system (5) depending on the determined information of the situation, where the signal represents rubber smell of braking tires, fuel odor or diesel smell. The perfuming controller adjusts perfuming intensity depending on the determined information of the situation such that the signal is output with the adjusted perfuming intensity. The information represents other road user such as car, lorry and pedestrian.
