Method for compensating processing errors due to elastic deformation of workpiece, involves revising geometry data incrementally using additional information such as ambient temperature before start of compensating process
The method involves using dynamic correction values in the program for compensating processing errors. The geometry data are revised incrementally using additional information such as the ambient temperature before the start of the compensating process. The predictable machining errors are compensated using the geometry data. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) machine tool; and (2) data carrier with control program for compensating for processing errors due to elastic deformation of workpiece.
