Method for transferring data between moving road users, involves performing selection of media access control (MAC) process and/or parameters depending on application situation and/or environment
The method involves transferring data from road users through a common transmission medium. The access to the common transmission medium is controlled by the MAC process. The selection of MAC process and/or parameters is performed depending on the application situation and/or the environment. The selection of MAC process is performed depending on the location, velocity and/or the traveling direction of individual road user, the extent of utilization of the radio channel and/or the respective transmit power and/or antenna characteristic of the road users.
