Method for manufacturing pliers, involves connecting jaw and main structure by inserting connection sections of main structure into mounting opening provided in mounting portion of jaw
The method involves forming two connection sections (11) in front segment of main structure (10). The mounting portions (21) are formed in rear segment of jaws (20) respectively. A mounting opening is provided in underside of mounting portion and is composed of a circular hole and an expanded hole (211). The depth of expanded hole is smaller than depth of circular hole in which splinters are formed. The inner diameter of expanded hole is larger than circular hole. The jaw and main structure are connected by inserting connection sections of main structure into mounting opening of jaw. An independent claim is included for pliers.
