Rechargeable battery pack for driving electric motor drive of electric vehicle or hybrid vehicle, has multiple battery cells connected in series, where each battery cell has charge balancing system with switching element
The rechargeable battery pack (1) has multiple battery cells connected in series. Each battery cell has a charge balancing system (3) with a switching element. The switching element is switched with the battery cell. The charge balancing system has a transceiver for wirelessly communicating with a central internal receiving unit (4). The receiving unit is connected with an external battery control unit (7). The transceiver is formed for transmitting measurement signals at the receiving unit. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a method for balancing the charge of multiple battery cells of a multicells rechargeable battery pack; and (2) a method for manufacturing a rechargeable battery pack with a charge-balancing system.
