Microscope for performing multi-position experiment of e.g. cell culture, has selection unit that provides determined sample positions to user, and control unit which provides the pre-specified range of sample positions
The microscope (1) has a movement unit (3) which moves a sample and control unit (8) that controls movement unit and pickup sensor (5) at several predetermined sample positions successively receiving corresponding sample areas. A determination unit determines different sample positions and communicates the determined result to a selection unit. The selection unit provides determined sample positions to the user for the selection. The control unit provides the pre-specified range of sample positions. An independent claim is included for microscopy method for performing multi-position experiment.
