The converter (10) has a magnetic circuit, which comprises a magnetic core (11). A secondary coil (12) is wrapped around a part of the magnetic core. Ends of a tertiary coil (13) are electrically connected with one another. A through-hole (14) is formed in the magnetic core. The tertiary coil is guided such that the tertiary coil is wrapped around the part of the magnetic core by the hole. The magnetic core is made of a soft magnetic material e.g. ferromagnetic material and/or ferrimagnetic material. The tertiary coil is made of a material with a magnetic field-dependant electric resistor. The magnetic core is designed as a stack metal sheet core, a tape-wound core and a ring core.
