The invention relates to a wiring test device for electronic cabinets with internal signal wiring between a first field with a matrix-like arrangement of inputs and outputs and a second field with inputs and outputs, comprising a first measuring means (1) with a number of test probes arranged in a matrix ( 10) for placing on and contacting the inputs or outputs of the first field, and a second measuring means (2) communicating with the first means (1) with a test tip (20) for contacting individual inputs or outputs of the second field, and a control device, which checks for each of the contacted inputs and outputs of the second field of a selected electronics cabinet, whether its internal signal wiring corresponds to a previously stored wiring list for this electronics cabinet.
