Heat exchanger housing, particularly for fuel-operated vehicle heater, comprises multiple heat transferring ribs extending from bottom area to free end area of peripheral wall, where peripheral wall has opening angle in peripheral area
The heat exchanger housing (10) comprises a bottom area (16) and a peripheral wall (18) adjoining the bottom area in the direction of a longitudinal axis (L). Multiple heat transferring ribs (32) extending from the bottom area to a free end area (30) of the peripheral wall are provided on an inner side (20) of the peripheral wall. The peripheral wall has an opening angle (W-1) in a peripheral area in the extending area of the heat transferring ribs corresponding to the longitudinal axis, where the opening angle is larger than a rib apex of a portion of the heat transferring ribs. An independent claim is included for a vehicle heater, which comprises a combustion area with a combustion chamber and a heat exchanger housing.
