Lighting device for motor car, has control device for controlling controllable unit for influencing radiation flux between outlet opening and light source such that controllable unit influences flux only when light source is switched-off
The device (10) has a headlight (12) comprising a light source (16) and a transparent covering plate (18) that forms a part of an outer surface (20) of a motor car. The plate covers a light outlet opening of the headlight. A control device is provided for controlling activity of the light source. A controllable unit is arranged in an inner side of the headlight. The control device controls the controllable unit for influencing radiation flux (22) between the opening and the light source such that the controllable unit influences the flux only when the light source is switched-off. The controllable unit is designed as a coating of an optical element of the headlight. The headlight is designed as a retractable headlight. The light source is designed as a semiconductor light source i.e. LED.
