Method for manufacturing wheel of passenger car, involves closing injection molding tool after insertion of fiber-reinforced plastic into mold cavities of injection molding tool, where semi-finished product is embedded in mold cavities
The method involves performing an injection molding of a fiber-reinforced plastic i.e. polyamide, into a semi-finished product that is inserted into mold cavities of an injection molding tool to produce a fiber-composite structural component. The semi-finished product is comprised of a long fiber in a form a semi-finished band (5) for a reinforcement of an annular portion i.e. rim (1), and individual radial sections i.e. spokes (2). The injection molding tool is closed after insertion of the fiber-reinforced plastic, where the semi-finished product is embedded in the mold cavities.
