摘要

The payment system has online management portal (5) for storing customer records and account records of payer and payee. The transaction data record is transmitted from the paid-end device (3) to payee terminal (4). The transaction record is transmitted along with a record of payee (2) of payee terminal to portal. The payer and the payee are authenticated through portal based on the received data. The creditworthiness of payer (1) is reviewed. The payment transaction is accepted or rejected based on positive/negative credit check by the portal. The terminals and online management portal are connected and controlled, so as to enable payment transaction between payer and payee after activation of paid-end device for payment transaction by the payer. A payment transaction is generated with respect to associated transaction record by paid-end device. An independent claim is included for method for cashless payment of goods and services in payment system.
