The hydrostatic drive unit (1) has a hydrostatic reciprocating engine that is arranged in an engine housing (3), and a supporting flange (5). The engine housing is fixed at the supporting flange for borne sound decoupling of the engine housing by vibration damping decoupling element (6). The vibration damping decoupling element is formed by a metallic spring bar element. The metallic spring bar element is arranged between the engine housing and the supporting flange. A slide bearing is made of temperature-resistant plastic.
