The rake blade strip (1) has a fastening section (2) which is fastened at the lower edge of the rake blade by a releasable connection. A contact section is connected with the fastening section by a hinge (4) and is segmented in two or more contact segments (31-33). A resetting unit (5) is assigned to the two of the contact segments. The resetting unit is formed of plastic and acts against pivoting of the two contact segments with respect to the fastening section. A connecting unit (81) is provided for screwing the fastening section at the lower edge of the rake blade. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing a rake blade strip.
