Tubular plastic hollow profiles i.e. cross-linked polyethylene pipes, manufacturing device, has pipe guide or support supporting pipe on part of path between extrusion head and calibration tank over part of profile inner circumference
The device has a cross-linking oven (18) arranged in an extrusion path between an extrusion head (10) of an extrusion device and a calibration tank (20). A pipe guide or support (28) supports a pipe (16) on a part of a path between the extrusion head and the calibration tank over a part of a profile inner circumference. The pipe guide or support includes a smooth continuous support surface for planarly supporting the pipe. The pipe guide or support includes ribs and rolls for supporting a profile inner wall along contact lines.
