The propeller (100) has a gear box having input shaft (14), intermediate shaft (15) and propeller shaft (16) which are arranged in upper, middle and lower housing units (11-13) of housing (10), respectively. The input shaft is in operative connection with the intermediate shaft which is in operative connection with the propeller shaft on which a propeller unit (17) is arranged. The propeller is rotated in same rotational direction of the input shaft. The propeller unit is rotated in reverse direction of input shaft, by changing operative connections between the shafts. An independent claim is included for method for determination of rotation direction of propeller unit of rudder propeller for watercraft.
